A former deputy governor of Plateau state, Chief Michael Botmang is dead.
Botmang died at the age of 76 in the early hours of Saturday January 18th in Zawan, Jos South Local Government Area of the state.
He was said to have died complications arising from diabetes.
Confirming the incident, former Commissioner for Information during the Dariye administration, Mr. Yakubu Dati said his death was very unfortunate.
Botmang was two-term deputy to Chief Joshua Dariye from 1999 to 2007. He became acting governor from November 13th 2006 to April 27th 2007.
