15 vessels expected at Lagos ports from Feb. 14 --- NPA -



Fifteen ships 13 of which are carrying new vehicles and two the used ones are expected to arrive in the Lagos ports between Feb. 4 and Feb. 28.
The Nigeria Ports Authority (NPA) in its shipping position said on Monday in Lagos that nine of the ships would berth at the PTML terminal, Apapa.
The information bulletin said the remaining vessels would berth at Five Star Terminal, also in Apapa.
It said the ships carrying the goods included GRD African, GRD Morocco, REP DI Roma, GRD Argentina, GRD Guinea, GRD Francia, GRD Brazil, GRD America and REP DI Argentina.
The publication said that 49 containerised goods were expected to arrive at APM terminal `P’ Cargo terminal and Tin-can Island Container Terminal (TICT).
Other vessels are expected to sail in with goods such as rice, wheat, general cargoes, steel product, petroleum product and fertiliser.
However, seven ships carrying petroleum products are waiting to berth, while two containerised goods are awaiting customs clearance.
The information bulletin said that the two containerised goods were awaiting berth at the TICT.
