DETAILS: Immigration Service Exam Comes Up This Month

Many people have been sending me mails asking when Immigration recruitment is coming up. Here is it:
The Comptroller-General of Nigeria Immigration Service, NIS, David Parradang has announced that the Service is now ready to conduct aptitude test for applicants who applied to be recruited in to the NIS this month.
He made this known while speaking at an interactive section with Journalists at the NIS headquarters in Abuja on Thursday.
While explaining that the recruitment exercise is being carried out by both the Civil Defence, Fire, Immigration and Prison Services Board, the Comptroller-General said the delay was to ensure that all qualified candidates were shortlisted...
The exam proper, he said, will hold on the 15th of March, 2014.

According to Deputy Comptroller-General, Human Resource Manager, Malgwi Henry Yasika, recruitment and allied processes are now at an advanced stage. “The recruitment will take place between this month and next month,” he noted.

Yasika who said all the shortlisted candidates will travel to their respective states of origin for the aptitude test, added that training will commence immediately after recruitment.
