According to the prosecutor, Police Inspector Charles Anku, the victim identified as Ama Aidoo had paid a visit to her father at his residence in Saltpond to discuss family issues concerning a land he had sold to a co-worker. An argument ensued between father and daughter.
Kwesi was said to have brought a knife, threatening her to leave or he'd stab her but she refused to leave, insisting that the issue must be resolved. This resulted in a struggle between them and Ama got stabbed in the stomach.
Ama was rushed to the Saltpond District hospital but she died on arrival.
Kwesi was arrested after a complaint was lodged with the police.
Kwesi however pleaded not guilty and will reappear before court on February 5.
